Avoid food that is oily, fatty, and fried. The food that contains a lot of spices and pungent taste should be kept away. Do not consume dry or leftover food, as they contain harmful bacteria. Eat fresh food that is prepared just an hour before.

Eat lots of steamed vegetables rather than savoring on fried and cooked veggies. Light and easy to digest foods such as natural milk, mint, and coriander herbal tea’s Ayurveda does not recommend citrus fruits, which worsen Pitta.

Lightly cooked foods are best such basmati rice with sauteed sprouted mung beans known as Kitchari and a green leafy vegetable. 4. Summer Drinks

Cut down the consumption of tea, coffee, or carbonated beverages. Reduce the use of alcohol throughout the summers. The carbonated beverage contains acids that cause you more dehydrated.

Even the caffeine in coffee prompts the dehydration in your body. Replace all these harmful drinks with fruit juice, buttermilk, and traditional beverages known as limbu sarbat prepared from lemon juice.

Besides this other sarbat are made of sugar Indian gooseberry, kokum, and raw mangoes. You may as well enjoy herbal tea, that provides huge relaxation and energy.
