  • Take 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and put into your mouth.
  • Now gently swish it around for about 20 minutes.
  • Then spit it out, make sure that you do not gargle or swallowing the oil.
  • End it with rinse your mouth out with warm water; you can also use salt water for antimicrobial benefits.
  • Lastly, brush your teeth as usual and follow this daily in the morning, on an empty stomach.

  • Take 5-10 fresh tulsi leaves to make it into a paste, use paste to brush your teeth.
  • Drinking Tulsi tea is also useful, take 2 teaspoons of dried basil mix it with water and make decoction and drink.
  • Take 5-10 fresh Tulsi leaves to make juice with one cup of water and gargle.

4.Guava Leaves

It has been found that the most common cause of gums and dental problems is gingivitis. Gingivitis is bacteria that form the thin layer on the teeth, this layer looks like a sticky white substance generally recognized as plaque. These bacteria put on toxins which make gums swollen red. If left untreated they can destroy the tissues connecting the gums to the tooth.

  • Take 1 cup of water in a vessel bring it to boil, put ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder. Allow it to cool down, use it as a mouthwash once daily.
  • Take a ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder, add few drops of water and make it as a paste. Use this paste to brush your teeth a few times a week.
  • Make a paste with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, ½ teaspoon of salt and few drops of mustard oil. Rub it on your gums and teeth once daily.

Dentists do consider the toothbrush a main weapon against tooth decay and for oral care. They also advise brushing after every meal and at bedtime, but most of them brush only once or twice a day. If you are serious about dental care, then the best time to brush is after breakfast and before bedtime.
